The leader of Vixen made her way into the back of the shop, designer shades over her eyes and a cap over her head, despite the fact that the sun was nowhere in sight. Taking the stairs in stride, she reached the terrace a few seconds later. The waiter quickly directing her to the corner, where a table was waiting. She’d become a regular to this place in the last year. The service might be on the pricey side, but at least she wouldn’t find her face on the fan sites tomorrow morning.
After a few minutes of watching the people on the sidewalk come and go, she reached for her phone to send a quick message.
[text; Jae-to-the-Ko ] There was a group of models from Esteem, on the street 5 minutes ago.
[text; Jae-to-the-Ko ] Hurry up before I decide to go clubbing—
She was joking of course. (About going clubbing, not about the male models. Those had been very real.) She’d never go clubbing. At least not in Hongdae. Her company would probably flip. For now, she’d stick to private parties and the VIP lounge at clubs. As the waiter brought her the usual cup of tea, she looked up to notice Jaeko coming her way. “You’re late.”
It felt like only minutes ago that she was running around her dorm getting ready, but in reality it was fifteen minutes ago. The taxi ride was plus adrenaline was making her feel rushed, but she couldn’t help it. She was running late for her little date. She had just returned home from a schedule and had to immediately change her clothes and fix herself up, causing the feeling of being rushed. Finally, the taxi slowed and approached the destination. She fixed her hair before putting her hat back on her head, adjusting it so it was comfortable. Within a matter of seconds, she had her card swiped to pay for the taxi and she was standing outside of it.
Just as she closed the door of the taxi, her phone buzzed in her hand and she chuckled at the messages. “Yeah right.” She chose not to reply to the messages and simply slid a pair of sunglasses on to cover her eyes. As much as she liked it, she wasn’t feeling like having fantake photos of her posted up online. She quickly entered the restaurant and was directed upstairs to the terrace. It wasn’t hard to find her friend, judging by the similar style of outfits. She uttered a quick “thank you” to the man who lead her upstairs and took her seat across from Jaekyung.
“I know, I know. I’m sorry. I had an event to make an appearance at and I had to change. At least I’m here now though.”
